What Power BI reports does a machine or job shop need?
The set that covers the business end to end is job margin (estimate vs. actual - which completed jobs made money), machine and labor utilization (is the expensive iron actually running, and is paid floor time reaching jobs), quoting and win rate (how much of what we quote we win, and how fast), on-time delivery and WIP backlog (can we keep our promises and is the floor balanced), and shop-rate realization (are we actually earning the rate we quoted). Do these work with JobBOSS, ProShop, Global Shop, or Epicor data?
Yes. You export your data from whatever job-shop ERP you run - JobBOSS (E2 Shoptech), ProShop ERP, Global Shop Solutions, ECI M1 / Epicor, or a QuickBooks-plus-spreadsheet setup - and the template models it into a Power BI report. The samples here use synthetic data so you can see the finished shape before bringing your own export.
Is any real customer or financial data used in these templates?
No. Every report on these pages is built from realistic but entirely synthetic data - generic customers, anonymized part families, made-up jobs and dollar values. There are no real records of any kind. When you build your own version, you bring your own ERP export.
