ABA reporting — frequently asked questions
What Power BI reports does an ABA practice need?
The four that cover the business end to end are authorization & service utilization (are we delivering the care we're approved for), revenue cycle management (are we collecting what we bill), an intake & referral funnel (are we converting referrals into active clients), and clinical outcomes & attendance (are children progressing, and are we delivering the planned dosage). Each is available here as a template you can clone.
Do these work with CentralReach or Rethink data?
Yes. You export your data from whatever practice-management or billing system you use — CentralReach, Rethink, a clearinghouse, or spreadsheets — and the template models it into a Power BI report. The samples here use synthetic data so you can see the finished shape before bringing your own.
Is any real client data used in these templates?
No. Every report on these pages is built from realistic but entirely synthetic data — generic payers, anonymized client labels, standard CPT codes. There is no PHI. When you build your own version, you bring your own export.
How do I turn one of these into my own report?
Click 'Use this as a template' on any report. You'll describe the report (or upload your own CSV export), we read and model the data, and you get a fully built Power BI project — a .pbip you open in Power BI Desktop — back in minutes.
