Med spas reporting — frequently asked questions

What Power BI reports does a med spa need?

The set that covers the business end to end is injector and room utilization economics (is expensive chair-time producing revenue), average ticket / ARPV and service mix (what each visit is worth and where revenue comes from), rebooking and retention (do clients book the next visit and come back on cadence), membership and package liability (how much prepaid value you owe and whether members redeem), consult-to-treatment conversion and acquisition cost by channel (are you converting and acquiring profitably), and a multi-location owner scorecard. Each is available here as a template you can clone.

Do these work with Boulevard, Aesthetic Record, or Mangomint data?

Yes. You export your data from whatever platform you run — Boulevard, Aesthetic Record, AestheticsPro, Mangomint, PatientNow, Symplast, or Square Appointments — and the template models it into a Power BI report. The samples here use synthetic data so you can see the finished shape before bringing your own.

Is any real patient or financial data used in these templates?

No. Every report on these pages is built from realistic but entirely synthetic data — generic provider labels, anonymized client IDs, and made-up tickets and packages. There is no PHI and no real revenue. When you build your own version, you bring your own export.

How do I turn one of these into my own report?

Click 'Use this as a template' on any report. You'll describe the report (or upload your own CSV export), we read and model the data, and you get a fully built Power BI project — a .pbip you open in Power BI Desktop — back in minutes.
